About the Artist
Janna Lua, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder,  was a former employee with Bizlink’s Cards & Gifts Social Enterprise, with guidance from her trainer, she exercised her creativity by producing different watercolour artworks. She currently runs her own freelance business of creating knitting crafts.

Beneath the waterfall, a school of koi gracefully navigates the pond. The koi, symbols of perseverance and prosperity, swim with purpose, their scales catching the dappled sunlight as they contribute to the dynamic ebb and flow of the aquatic environment.

The mug & bowl in this artwork uses a “wheel-throw” technique, which is an essential part of basic ceramics. Heman created this sculpture as he strongly believes in a strong basic foundation.

Heman’s Iron Green Walking Bowl is a reminder for him that everyone is imperfect but life can still be beautiful with these imperfections. His infectious belief in that moving forward is the key to everything, which is reflected in the legs of the bowl.

The chrome glaze in the bowl resembles a starry night sky.

This sculpture uses “wheel-throw” and “trim” technique.
