We have much to learn from their resilience towards overcoming challenges and with your support, they can continue with the dignity of work being an important element in their lives.

In 1989, Palanisamy joined Bizlink as a workshop instructor and has been there ever since. Today, he manages a team of sixty workers with moderate to severe disabilities who handle projects, such as packing and process fulfilment and letter-shopping jobs. Ten years ago, he had started doing grassroots work and home visits to low-income families. He took up training in first aid and resuscitation techniques so as to be able to be on standby during community events. Volunteers at the events see me on the wheelchair and ask if I can do it. I said if you can do it, why can't I?
