Bizlink Donors' Appreciation Ceremony and
Launch of North East CDC 'Special Talent Fund'

At the height of the recent economic downturn, people with disabilities faced the challenges of job retention in the open employment. The number of outsource jobs secured for the people with disabilities in sheltered employment also suffered a substantial reduction. Despite these challenges, some companies continued their support to Bizlink Centre through either in cash donations or donation-in-kind.
Bizlink Donors’ Appreciation Ceremony celebrates and acknowledges the philanthropic efforts of individuals and organizations from public and private sectors who have supported Bizlink Centre’s mission to integrate people with disabilities back to society through employment. More than $200,000 was raised over the last one year. The donated amount had enabled Bizlink Centre to continue her mission to assist people with disabilities secure open or sheltered employment despite tough economic conditions.
In conjunction with this ceremony, the Guest-of-Honour, Mayor Teo Ser Luck, North East District, will also announce and launch the North East CDC ‘Special Talent Fund’ which is a fund set aside to encourage people with disabilities but show talents in a specific field, i.e. music, arts, culture to apply to enhance their talents.
