British Chamber of Commerce donates to Bizlink Centre

The British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham) has donated over $20,000 to Bizlink's Job Trial fund. The Job trial fund is used to provide financial assistance to disabled clients who are undergoing job trial at Bizlink Centre's workshop. Clients undergo 2 to 3 weeks of job trial so that our staff can better assess the clients' capabilities as they function under realistic working conditions. As these clients are not yet employed and hence do not earn any salary, the Job Trial fund helps to provide for their meal as well as transport costs.

BritCham is also exploring further with Bizlink on other ways that they can assist Bizlink and its clients. Some potential projects include improving the ambience at Bizlink's workshop through perhaps painting works and provision of refrigerators etc. BritCham is also exploring how it can assist Bizlink to set up a commercial call centre.

Bizlink is grateful for BritCham's ongoing support. You can find out more about BritCham's activities at their website.

Look out for new joint projects between BritCham and Bizlink Centre.
